PEORIA, IL — OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois marked an important milestone Tuesday, April 21 with a dedication ceremony for the future Pediatric Specialty Care Center at 800 Northeast Glen Oak Ave., located steps from the main hospital and connected internally.
Set to open in spring 2027, the center will consolidate pediatric specialty services in one location, including cardiology, neurology, pulmonology and urology. The facility will also feature on-site imaging and laboratory services to support more convenient, coordinated care for families.
The project is designed to streamline appointments, reduce travel between services and improve access for patients, as the hospital continues to see growing demand for pediatric specialty care.
Leaders, Mission Partners and invited guests gathered for the ceremony to recognize the next step in expanding services for children and families. Attendees also participated in a time capsule, which will be opened 10 years after the center opens.
