OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center, together with the Kewanee Police Department and Dispatch, Kewanee Fire Department and the Henry County Office of Emergency Management, will hold an emergency preparedness drill on the hospital campus Friday, September 19.
The exercise is designed to strengthen disaster response plans, enhance teamwork with local first responders and ensure hospital Mission Partners are prepared to care for the community during an emergency.
Community members may notice a significant presence of law enforcement, fire and emergency vehicles at the hospital during the drill. Please know this is only a training exercise.
All hospital services will remain open and fully operational throughout the event. If any actions are needed inside the building, Mission Partners will communicate directly with those present at the time.
