OSF Medical Group – Pediatrics (Godfrey) is pleased to announce a new board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner has been added to its staff to better serve the increasing pediatric care needs in the Riverbend region.
Marissa St. Peters, APRN, PNP-BC, is accepting new patients at OSF Medical Group – Pediatrics, located at 6702 Godfrey Road, in Godfrey. Ms. St. Peters will see patients Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Ms. St. Peters is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner (Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, 2023), and has accumulated more than seven-and-a-half years of pediatrics nursing experience that encompasses:
- Serving as an emergency room nurse at Mercy Hospital-St. Louis and St. Louis Children’s Hospital
- Employed as an emergency room “Travel Nurse” for children’s hospitals in Arizona, California, Colorado and Missouri
Marissa was drawn to OSF HealthCare for its reputation for fostering innovation in care and its Mission-driven, supportive culture. “I’m happy to be part of a collaborative team where I can provide compassionate, high-quality care while continuing to grow as a provider,” she says. “My approach to each appointment is relaxed, thorough and patient centered. Her passion for medicine began at a young age, inspired by a desire to care for others and make a meaningful difference in their lives. “Choosing pediatrics was a natural fit, I enjoy connecting with children, guiding their growth and celebrating milestones with families,” Marissa says.
St. Peters’ education began by receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Mississippi (Oxford), followed by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College (St. Louis, MO) and then a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University (St. Louis, MO).
