November is National Hospice Month. The “Ring Bells for Hospice” campaign is launched throughout our state and local area to create awareness of hospice organizations and the hospice philosophy.
OSF Home Care & Hospice and UP Health System Home Care & Hospice will join, along with staff, volunteers and those who wish to join us, to ring bells in memory of those in our community who have passed under hospice care this past year. We will meet on the lawn of Escanaba Seventh-day Adventist Church pantry, behind Walgreens, at the corner of South Lincoln Rd and 1st Ave South for the bell ringing at approximately noon EST on Friday, November 1, 2024. We will begin to gather at 11:45 a.m. The program itself will be about 30 minutes, and will consist of a prayer, a moment of silence (at noon) and singing. We have also asked our community churches to ring their bells at noon. Please join us.
