At OSF HealthCare, it is our Mission to serve our patients with the greatest care and love. As part of the continuing effort to keep rural health care in the Roseville area, we will be on a new rotation schedule for our providers at OSF Medical Group – Primary Care, at 235 E. Penn Ave., Roseville, Illinois beginning Monday, October 23.
Jennifer Jensen, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), will see patients on Mondays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Jennifer grew up in Monmouth, Illinois, and knew that she wanted to care for others at a young age.
"I like to incorporate my patients into their own treatment plan, so they feel in charge of their own health," she said.
Mara Bessine, APRN, will see patients Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mara is passionate about her patients and finds helping people extremely fulfilling.
"My mother is a medical office assistant, and I grew up watching her work at our local doctor's office. I think that influenced my decision to go into medicine the most," Mara said.
Mara grew up in Stronghurst, Illinois, and has always enjoyed living in a rural community. "Rural health is always a necessity that is one of the reasons I chose to stay with OSF and work for their rural clinic here in Monmouth," Mara said.
