The OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center Annual Charity Golf Classic will be held on Monday, June 5, at Midland Golf Club in Kewanee. New this year is an earlier tee off time, revamped sponsorship opportunities and additional games and prizes. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with tee off at 10:30 a.m.
All proceeds support the Patient Transportation Program that improves access to health care in Kewanee and the surrounding areas. The program is funded entirely through donations. Each year, we are able to provide over 3,000 rides to patients in need of transportation to and from the hospital. We appreciate our donors and Community Council for their generosity and support to keep the program going.
The $90 player fee includes lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart, post-game meal and prizes. In its third year is the First Responder division, where area police, fire and medical personnel compete for bragging rights and a traveling trophy.
