OSF HealthCare is pleased to announce Lisa Davis, MD, MBA, CPE, has accepted the position of vice president and chief medical officer for OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center effective July 10.
In this position, Dr. Davis will be accountable for leading the practice of medicine as a member of the executive teams for OSF Saint Anthony. She will ensure consistency in practice standards and facilitate an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of care. Dr. Davis will develop and share the vision and strategic direction for the practice of medicine while collaborating on the implementation of the strategy.
Dr. Davis most recently served on the Board of Trustees and has been the service chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont, Ohio. She currently serves as the chief of medical staff and Aerospace medicine at the 102nd MDG at the Otis Air National Guard base in Massachusetts, where she is a flight surgeon. Dr. Davis has also been a practicing OB/GYN at ProMedica Physicians Group.
Dr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
