Effective February 23, 2023, OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center is welcoming visitors of all ages, in addition to designated support persons.
We recognize the loving support, guidance and compassion that family members and close friends of all ages offer during times of hospitalizations and healthcare appointments. OSF HealthCare is very happy to once again reach this milestone given the challenges our patients, families and Mission Partners have faced due to visiting restrictions.
At this time, there is no change to the screening requirement for all persons entering a healthcare facility. Visitors should be encouraged to stay home when ill, and visibly ill support persons and visitors should not be visiting. As always, OSF HealthCare encourages and promotes good hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment and respiratory hygiene/cough etiquette. We will continue to monitor the incidence of COVID-19, influenza and other respiratory illnesses within our community. We will partner with the Peoria City/County Health Department to evaluate if visitor limitations are needed in the future.
