OSF HealthCare is pleased to add a new primary care provider to its staff to better serve the community of Henry and surrounding areas.
The addition of Alyssa Smolen, APRN, on February 21 will ensure increased access for patients in need of primary care services at OSF Medical Group – Primary Care at 327 Edward St. in Henry. She will also be supporting OSF PromptCare at 535 Park Ave. E. in Princeton.
Smolen joins the care team in Henry and offers a number of primary care services. She especially loves helping patients meet their health goals. As a primary care provider, she enjoys getting to know her patients and working with them throughout their lives.
She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Allen College and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Creighton University. Smolen worked full time as a critical care nurse while pursuing her advanced degree.
