The Walk-In Clinic is for health care needs and conditions that are not life-threatening but need to be taken care of right away and cannot wait for an appointment. A staff of nurses, advance practice providers and physicians see patients of all ages experiencing common health issues such as:
- Cold symptoms, like congestion and high fever
- Conjunctivitis or eye infection
- Ear pain
- Minor burn
- Puncture wound needing tetanus shot
- Simple cut
- Skin rash
- Sore throat
- Sprain, strain or simple fracture
In addition to Walk-In Clinic services, OSF offers OnCall Urgent Care, a modern urgent care service that is provided virtually, using OSF OnCall providers. The virtual option offers the same great care as an in-person experience and means that anyone can access this type of care, 24/7/365. Most visits take 15 minutes or less, start at $25 (depending on insurance) and allow for any prescriptions to be sent directly to your inbox. To use, visit osfoncall.org/virtualvisit.
For medical emergencies, you should always call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
