OSF HealthCare Multispecialty Services is pleased to announce the Sunflower Award was recently presented to Tyler Hogan, a physical therapist at the OSF Center for Health - Streator. Tyler has been with OSF HealthCare for almost one year and resides in Dwight, IL.
"The Sunflower Award recognizes care team members outside of nursing for the extraordinary care they provide to those we serve, and Tyler is definitely deserving," said Jennifer Currier, Director of Rehabilitation Service for OSF HealthCare Northern Region.
Hogans' nomination reads, " I first met Ty when I transitioned from Home Health PT to Streator Hospital PT. He has been my therapist since. I was so impressed with his professional & courteous/caring demeanor. When my daughter needed PT, I insisted she get Ty! Ty's knowledge of the body and making you work a different muscle or area of the body is amazing. Minor body adjustments affecting different parts of the body are extremely helpful in addressing all my needs and any changing needs. He'll give me different exercises to perform that targets that special issue or pain. Ty has excellent communication & listening skills. He demonstrated daily his genuine care & well-being of the patient. I've been blessed to have him as my therapist."
OSF HealthCare encourages patients, family members, and fellow staff to recognize caregivers who have provided exceptional care and service by nominating them for an award to honor their dedication.
