The next meeting of the OSF HealthCare Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center Diabetes Support Group will be Tuesday, April 6, 6-7 p.m., and we welcome all who are facing the challenges of diabetes. The program will be “Weight Loss Measures that Worked – a Personal Story” by Roy Robinson.
After a period of unemployment, Roy weighed 588 pounds and used large amounts of insulin. Determined to improve his health, he lost over 300 pounds and now uses only a small amount of insulin and has been able to eliminate some medications altogether. Roy will share his story and many successful weight loss tips.
This program will be held in the main floor conference room where there is adequate room for physical distancing. A brief health screening will be completed for each guest upon arrival and masks will be required.
Pre-registration is not necessary for this FREE program.
