U.S. News & World Report has included four OSF HealthCare hospitals in its new 2020-2021 Best Hospitals rankings for a number of specialties and services.
OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL was ranked #23 in Illinois and achieved status as high performing in three separate areas: caring for persons with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD); cardiovascular care for persons with Heart Failure; and knee replacements within the orthopedics category.
Other OSF HealthCare facilities recognized include OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL for high performing status in colon cancer surgery and lung cancer surgery, OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park, IL and OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL each achieved high performing status in caring for persons with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Additionally, OSF Little Company of Mary was designated high performing in providing cardiovascular care for persons with Heart Failure.

To help patients decide where to receive care, U.S. News generates hospital rankings by evaluating data on nearly 5,000 hospitals in 16 adult medical specialties, 9 adult procedures or conditions and 10 pediatric specialties. In addition to the national and regional rankings by U.S. News, two OSF HealthCare hospitals were just named to the 2020 list of Best Maternity Care Hospitals as compiled by Newsweek, and the Ministry as a whole was named by Forbes as one of America’s Best Employers for Women.
