OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center Announces Updates to OSF Medical Group Services—Rockford Specialties

Solving the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis is the top priority for health care systems across the country, including OSF HealthCare. OSF was one of the first to rapidly deploy digital health care options, which have allowed thousands to have their needs addressed and, where appropriate, care provided while staying safely at home.  As volumes have continued to decline, we’ve reviewed all options for our workforce to continue meeting patient needs while maintaining fiscal responsibility. 

 

The following changes go into effect on Monday, April 13:

URGENT CARE

OSF PromptCare at Saint Anthony Medical Center - temporarily closed effective on Monday, April 13.

Patients can be seen at OSF PromptCare at Rock Cut which remains open 8-8 every day.

 

SPECIALTY CARE Clinics

The following changes are in effect on Monday, April 13:

  • General Surgery
    • Cancel Rochelle clinic
    • Monday and Tuesday close at 3pm
    • Wednesday close at Noon
    • Thursday (phones till 3pm) close at Noon
    • Friday closed – Phones will be on until Noon
  • Orthopedics – Dr. Fischer
    • Open on Tuesday (will open Wed am if patient volume needs arise)
  • Guilford Square – Specialty
    • Audiology
      • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (one Dr.)
      • Friday closed
    • Allergy
      • Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday
    • ID
      • Open Wednesday 9am-3pm
    • ENT
      • Closed on Friday
    • Plastics
      • Open Monday and Wednesday
      • Nurse visits only on Tuesday
  • Pulmonology
    • Closed on Friday
  • Endocrinology
    • Open Monday – Friday
  • OB
    • Closed on Saturday
    • Lab 3 days a week
    • Ultrasound 3 days a week based on volume

OSF Medical Group – Poplar Grove temporarily closes at end of day Friday, April 17 with providers relocating as follows:

  • Kathleen Meade, APRN  starting at OSF Medical Group –Belvidere Monday, April 20
  • Dr. David Pocock starting at OSF Medical Group – Roscoe/Rockton Monday, April 20
  • Dr. Atisak Sapying starting at OSF Medical Group – Roscoe/Rockton Monday, April 20

The following changes are effective on April 20, 2020:

    • Closed Thursdays 
  • OSF Medical Group – Guilford Square Primary Care
    • Closed Fridays

The following changes are effective on April 27, 2020:

  • OSF Medical Group – Roscoe/Rockton
    • Open Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
